Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson was born in Mexico into a family of musicians. When she was a kid, she listened to lots of classical music, as well traditional boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana loves the opera and tango genres as well as every form of dramatic performances. She began singing and learning musical instruments with her mother before beginning her vocal instruction when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican tenor Flavio Becerra. The School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continue to provide her with music instruction. The singer performed throughout Guadalajara, Mexico City and various cities while a scholar and professional. In the years following her relocation in America in the year 2000, she joined a chorus of United States in 2000, she sang in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her location in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer in the traditional Latin American music at private occasions. as a music teacher and musician Ana is a dedicated participant in several community initiatives due to her enthusiasm and passion for music. Ana has also been a former participant in the Community Chorus of Redlands, the Inland Master Chorale, and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to be able communicate with other people her love for traditional Latin American music. She hopes to inspire younger generations of musicians to keep the music in the present.
