Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson - born Jacqueline Luesby to Chris Watson and Jacqueline Luesby, two British lawyers, was born on the 8th of July, 1989 in Paris. When she was just five years old and moved to Oxfordshire and enrolled at an Oxfordshire-based Dragon School. Emma was aspired to be a professional actress since she was aged six. She studied at Stagecoach Theatre Arts in Oxford which is an acting academy with part-time courses. When she was 10 years old, Emma took part in many Stagecoach productions and plays. Harry Potter and the Sorcerers Stone (2000) the film version of J.K. Rowling's bestselling British book was cast in the year 1999. Emma was discovered by agents through their Oxford teacher. David Heyman informed Emma, Daniel Radcliffe, and Rupert Grint after 8 auditions. They were chosen to play the three lead characters Hermione Gringer Harry Potter Ron Weasley. Emma's debut on screen was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone's premiere in 2001. The film was also the film that was most popular during 2001. The opening weekend and day ticket sales were record-breaking. The film received praise from experts, and also by the performance of three new actors. The Daily Telegraph, an influential British newspaper, called Emma's performances "amazing". Emma got five nominations in recognition of her impressive performance. Later, she won the Young Artist Award in Leading Young Actress in the Film.
